Uzbekistan Advances Synthetic Aviation Fuel Project with Enter Engineering and Wood
Uzbekistan has initiated the design phase for a new synthetic aviation fuel (SAF) production plant. The project, commissioned by Uzbekneftegaz, will be located at the Bukhara oil refinery. Uzbekistan's Enter Engineering, serving as the general contractor, has engaged the British company Wood to develop the Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) package. This initiative aims to establish domestic production of high-quality, modern aviation fuel. The plant will utilize Fischer-Tropsch synthesis technology to produce SAF, reducing the country's reliance on fuel imports and expanding its range of high-value energy products.
