US Air Force Reports B-21 Raider and NGAD Fighter Programs are Ahead of Schedule
The U.S. Air Force has announced significant progress on two of its most advanced aircraft programs, stating they are ahead of schedule. The update concerns the B-21 Raider stealth bomber and the Next Generation Air Dominance (NGAD) fighter platform. The B-21, which conducted its first flight in November 2023, is now in its flight testing phase. Officials are pleased with its performance, with the first operational delivery still on track for 2027. Similarly, the highly classified NGAD program, designed to replace the F-22 Raptor, is also reportedly progressing well and meeting its development milestones. These programs are considered critical for maintaining U.S. air superiority.
