United Airlines Unveils New Premium Plus Seat for 2026 Fleet Refresh
United Airlines has revealed its next-generation Premium Plus cabin, set to debut in 2026. The new seat will first appear on the airline's incoming Airbus A321XLR and Boeing 787 aircraft. Developed with Safran, the customized Z600 seat features a fixed-shell back to ensure passenger privacy and prevent reclining into the space of the person behind. Key upgrades include a 15-inch 4K screen, wireless charging pads, and more thoughtful storage spaces. This enhancement is part of the carrier's broader 'United Next' initiative to elevate the onboard passenger experience across its international fleet.
