United Airlines Set to Launch Its Longest Boeing 737 MAX Route Next Week
United Airlines is preparing to launch its longest-ever flight operated by a Boeing 737 MAX aircraft. The new route will connect Houston's George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) with Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport (ANC). Covering a distance of 3,254 miles, the service is scheduled to take approximately eight hours. This flight, operated by a 737 MAX 8, will become the airline's fifth-longest narrowbody route overall. The launch highlights the growing industry trend of using fuel-efficient single-aisle jets on longer-haul domestic and international routes.
