United Airlines Passenger Faces Federal Charges After Attacking Crew and Attempting Cockpit Breach
A passenger on a United Airlines flight from Tel Aviv to Newark was arrested after a major in-flight disturbance. The individual, identified as Matthew Dingley, allegedly charged towards the flight deck, shouting unintelligibly. Two flight attendants who intervened were reportedly assaulted during the attempt to stop him. Crew members and other passengers successfully restrained the man for the remainder of the flight. Upon arrival at Newark Liberty International Airport, he was taken into custody by law enforcement and now faces federal charges.
