United Airlines Extends Newark-Sicily Service Through Late October Amid High Demand
United Airlines has unexpectedly extended its seasonal service from Newark Liberty International Airport to Palermo, Sicily. The route, initially planned to conclude on September 26th, will now operate until October 24th. This extension is a direct response to stronger-than-anticipated passenger demand for travel to the Italian island. As the sole US carrier serving Palermo, this move provides travelers with an additional month of direct flight options. The daily service is operated using a Boeing 767-300ER, adding thousands of extra seats for the early autumn season.
