United Airlines Completes First Transatlantic Flight with Starlink WiFi on Boeing 737

United Airlines has become the first carrier to operate a transatlantic flight using SpaceX's Starlink satellite internet service. The milestone flight, UA120, traveled from Newark to Barcelona aboard a Boeing 737 MAX 8. This marks a significant step in the airline's plan to upgrade its inflight connectivity. United is currently retrofitting its entire narrowbody fleet, including older Boeing 737 Next-Generation aircraft, with the high-speed WiFi. The goal is to have the new system installed across its domestic fleet by 2025.
