United Airlines and Neste Expand Sustainable Aviation Fuel Supply Agreements in US and Europe
United Airlines and Neste have broadened their partnership with new agreements for the supply of Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF). The deal gives United the right to purchase up to 120 million gallons of SAF over the next three years. This fuel will be used for flights departing from San Francisco International Airport (SFO) and Amsterdam Airport Schiphol (AMS). As part of the agreement, United becomes the first U.S. carrier to use SAF on flights from Amsterdam. The partnership supports United's broader goal of achieving net-zero emissions by 2050 without relying on traditional carbon offsets.
