Unidentified Aircraft Spotted Over Area 51, Resembles Next-Generation Fighter Concepts
A mysterious aircraft with a unique, tailless design has been photographed flying near the classified Area 51 facility in Nevada. The shape of the aircraft bears a strong resemblance to artist concepts of the F-47, a speculative sixth-generation fighter. This sighting has fueled speculation that the aircraft is a technology demonstrator or prototype for the U.S. Air Force's Next Generation Air Dominance (NGAD) program. The program aims to develop the successor to the F-22 Raptor and F-35 Lightning II. As is typical with activities at the highly secure base, the Pentagon has not commented on the sighting.
