UK's Largest Regional Airline, Loganair, Put Up For Sale Again

Loganair, the UK's largest regional airline, is once again on the market as its owners have restarted the search for a buyer. The sale process was originally announced in 2022 but was put on hold last year to focus on fleet renewal and stabilizing operations post-pandemic. The airline, which is now profitable with a strong balance sheet, is considered a vital operator for many routes, especially lifeline services to the Scottish islands. With a fleet of 44 aircraft serving over 40 destinations, the company is seeking a new owner to take it into the future. The Scottish government has stated it has no plans to take the airline into public ownership but will work with any new buyer.
