UK's Largest Regional Airline, Loganair, Put Up For Sale Again
Loganair, the United Kingdom's largest regional airline, has been put on the market for the second time in 18 months. The current owners, brothers Stephen and Peter Bond, are seeking a new buyer to secure the long-term future of the Scottish carrier. This decision follows a previous sale attempt that was paused in late 2023 to allow the airline to complete a fleet renewal program. Serving crucial routes in Scotland's Highlands and Islands, Loganair operates 40 aircraft and employs around 900 people. The airline reported a pre-tax profit of £9.5 million for the year ending in March 2023.
