UK Airline Flybe Collapses for Second Time, All Flights Grounded

British regional airline Flybe has ceased trading and cancelled all flights, entering administration for the second time in three years. The collapse has resulted in the immediate redundancy of 277 out of 321 employees. The carrier, which only relaunched in April 2022, operated key domestic and international routes from hubs like Belfast, Birmingham, and Heathrow. Administrators from Interpath Advisory have been appointed and are seeking a potential buyer for the business and its assets. The UK's Civil Aviation Authority has advised all affected passengers not to travel to the airport.
