U.S. Airmen Rescue 11 People After Plane Crashes Off Florida Coast
A Pilatus PC-12 aircraft carrying 11 people crashed into the Gulf of Mexico near Destin, Florida. The incident occurred shortly after the plane departed from Destin-Fort Walton Beach Airport. All occupants successfully evacuated the aircraft and were found on a life raft. U.S. Airmen from the 41st Rescue Squadron at Moody Air Force Base, who were on a nearby training mission, were diverted to the scene. The military team successfully hoisted all 11 survivors from the water, and they were transported for medical evaluation with no major injuries reported.
