U.S. Air Force Reports B-21 Raider and NGAD Programs Ahead of Schedule

The U.S. Air Force has announced that two of its most advanced stealth aircraft programs are progressing ahead of schedule. Air Force Secretary Frank Kendall confirmed the positive development for both the B-21 Raider stealth bomber and the Next-Generation Air Dominance (NGAD) platform. The B-21 Raider, which has already completed flight tests, is on track for its first delivery in 2027. Similarly, the NGAD program, a "family of systems" intended to achieve future air superiority, is also advancing faster than planned. This accelerated timeline is considered vital for modernizing the U.S. fleet and maintaining a technological edge.
