U.S. Air Force Identifies Airman Killed in Alaska U-28A Crash
The U.S. Air Force has formally identified the service member killed in a recent plane crash in Alaska. Staff Sgt. Seth Michael Thomas, a 34-year-old special tactics combat controller, died when his U-28A Draco aircraft went down near Eielson Air Force Base. The crash occurred during a routine training mission. Three other airmen aboard the aircraft were injured but are reported to be in stable condition. The Air Force has launched an investigation to determine the cause of the fatal incident.
