Two Men Identified in Fatal Jefferson County, Tennessee Plane Crash
Investigators have identified two East Tennessee men, James Russell Scarlett and Michael Heath Tallent, as the victims of a fatal plane crash in Jefferson County. The single-engine Diamond DA-40 aircraft crashed on Sunday morning after departing from Morristown Regional Airport. The flight was en route to Gatlinburg-Pigeon Forge Airport when it was reported overdue. Emergency crews located the wreckage in a remote, heavily wooded area. The National Transportation Safety Board and the FAA are investigating the cause of the crash.
