Two Killed in Single-Engine Plane Crash Near Missouri Airport

Two people have died following the crash of a small aircraft in Missouri. The incident occurred on Thursday afternoon in a field just east of the Perryville Municipal Airport. Authorities identified the plane as a single-engine Mooney M20R. The victims were the pilot and a passenger, who were the only individuals on board. Both the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) have been notified and are investigating the cause of the fatal crash.
