Two Killed as Small Plane Crashes in Northeast Philadelphia Neighborhood
A small, single-engine plane crashed in a residential area of Northeast Philadelphia, resulting in the deaths of the two men on board. The victims were identified as 54-year-old Josef Mittleman and 60-year-old Dr. Marvin Tenenbaum. The Piper PA-28 aircraft went down shortly after departing from Northeast Philadelphia Airport for a flight to Columbus, Ohio. Eyewitness videos captured the plane spiraling moments before it crashed near homes on Lott Avenue. The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) and the FAA have launched an investigation into the cause of the fatal incident.
