Two Injured After Small Plane Crashes Near Jaffrey Airport in New Hampshire
A 1946 Luscombe 8A single-engine plane crashed in a wooded area in Jaffrey, New Hampshire, shortly after takeoff from Jaffrey Airport Silver Ranch. The pilot and a single passenger both sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to local hospitals. The pilot reported a loss of engine power just before the incident. Multiple emergency agencies responded to the scene, including police, fire, and EMS from Jaffrey and Peterborough. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) have been notified and will investigate the crash.
