Two Hospitalized After Small Plane Crashes Near Pembroke Pines Hospital
A single-engine Piper PA-28 aircraft crashed in a grassy area near Memorial Hospital Pembroke in Pembroke Pines, Florida. The incident occurred shortly after the plane took off from North Perry Airport. The two occupants of the aircraft, a pilot and a passenger, were both injured and transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. The plane sustained significant damage to its wings and tail upon impact. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) will be investigating the cause of the crash.
