Two Critically Injured After Training Plane Crashes Near Corpus Christi Airport
A multi-engine Piper training aircraft has crashed on private property near Corpus Christi International Airport. Two individuals who were on board the plane have been transported to a local hospital with critical injuries. The crash occurred shortly after the plane departed the airport for a training flight. The impact sparked a fire, which was subsequently extinguished by the Corpus Christi Fire Department. The National Transportation Safety Board and the Federal Aviation Administration have been notified and will be investigating the incident.
