A Qatar Airways Boeing 787-9, operating as flight QR-17 from Doha to Dublin, encountered severe turbulence over Turkey. The incident resulted in injuries to twelve individuals, including six passengers and six crew members. Despite the event, the aircraft continued its journey and landed safely at Dublin Airport as scheduled. Upon arrival, the flight was met by emergency services, including airport police and fire and rescue teams, to provide assistance to the injured. The airport authority confirmed that eight passengers were subsequently taken to the hospital for evaluation.
