Turkmenistan Airlines Holds World's Final Unfulfilled Order for Passenger Boeing 777-300ER
Turkmenistan Airlines is the carrier with the world's last remaining unfulfilled order for the passenger version of the Boeing 777-300ER. The order, which consists of two aircraft, was initially placed in July 2021. This marks the approaching end of the production run for one of the most successful widebody passenger jets in modern aviation history. While the passenger variant is being phased out, Boeing will continue producing the freighter version of the 777. The focus for new passenger widebodies has now shifted to the next-generation 777X family.
