Three South Korean Budget Airlines Set to Finalize Merger by March 2027

The LCCs involved are Korean Air's Jin Air and Asiana's subsidiaries, Air Busan and Air Seoul. The integration plan involves first merging Air Busan and Air Seoul, followed by a final merger with Jin Air. This consolidation is expected to be completed by March 2027, creating a single, more competitive budget airline tentatively named 'New Air'.
