Three Dead After Private Plane Crashes in Maryland Woods
A single-engine Mooney M20 aircraft crashed in a wooded area near Annapolis, Maryland, killing all three people on board. The plane departed from Lee Airport in Edgewater on Thursday night but was not found until Friday morning. Officials have identified the victims as the 66-year-old pilot from Annapolis and two passengers from Leesburg, Virginia. The cause of the crash is currently unknown. The National Transportation Safety Board and the Federal Aviation Administration have launched an investigation into the incident.
