Ten Rescued After Cessna Crashes in Bahamas; Two Saved in Separate Florida Water Landing
A Cessna SkyCourier with ten people on board crashed into the water shortly after takeoff in the Bahamas. All ten individuals were successfully rescued following the incident. In a separate event, a Piper PA-28 aircraft with two people aboard went down in the Atlantic Ocean off the coast of Vero Beach, Florida. The two occupants of the Florida crash were also saved by a private boater. The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating the Vero Beach incident.
