Teenage Student Pilot Recovering After Engine Failure Leads to Crash in Georgia
A 17-year-old student pilot, Christian Ebner, is recovering from moderate injuries after a plane crash in Paulding County, Georgia. The incident occurred as he was on final approach to Silver Comet Field when the single-engine Cessna 150's engine lost power. Attempting an emergency landing on a road, the aircraft clipped a power line and crashed. Ebner was the sole occupant of the plane. The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) is investigating the cause of the crash.
