Syzygy Plasmonics and IFC Partner to Develop Sustainable Aviation Fuel Projects in Latin America
Syzygy Plasmonics and the International Finance Corporation (IFC) have signed a memorandum of understanding to advance sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) projects across Latin America. The partnership will leverage Syzygy's innovative all-electric photoreactor technology to produce low-carbon hydrogen, a key ingredient for SAF. This initiative will support SAF production using both alcohol-to-jet (ATJ) and HEFA pathways. By backing feasibility studies, the collaboration aims to establish Latin America as a key region for SAF production, helping the aviation industry decarbonize.
