SunExpress Boeing 737 Diverts to Belgrade After Cockpit Windshield Cracks Mid-Flight
A SunExpress Boeing 737-800, operating a flight from Stuttgart to Ankara, was forced to make an emergency diversion. While climbing at 31,000 feet, the flight crew declared a PAN PAN emergency due to a cracked windshield on the captain's side. The pilots altered their course and safely landed the aircraft at Nikola Tesla Airport in Belgrade, Serbia. The landing occurred approximately 40 minutes after the issue was first reported. No injuries were reported among the passengers or crew.
