Spirit Airlines Expands Fort Lauderdale Hub with New Nonstop Routes
Spirit Airlines has announced an expansion of its service from Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL). The carrier will launch new daily, nonstop service to Kansas City International Airport (MCI) beginning June 5, 2024. This move reinforces Spirit's position as the largest airline operating out of FLL. The summer expansion also includes new flights from Fort Lauderdale to Portland, Oregon, and Salt Lake City. Additionally, the airline is introducing new service from Fort Myers to San Juan, Puerto Rico.
