Southwest Airlines Launches Its Longest-Ever Domestic Flight From Denver to Hawaii
Southwest Airlines has inaugurated its new longest domestic flight, connecting Denver International Airport (DEN) with Lihue Airport (LIH) in Kauai, Hawaii. The route spans 3,467 miles, surpassing the carrier's previous longest service. This daily flight is operated by a Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft. The westbound journey to Hawaii takes approximately seven hours and 40 minutes, while the eastbound return flight is around six and a half hours. This new service underscores the strategic importance of the Denver hub within Southwest's growing network.
