Small Plane Crashes on Hospital Campus in Pembroke Pines; Two Injured
A single-engine Piper PA-28 crashed Friday morning in Pembroke Pines, Florida. The aircraft went down on the campus of the South Florida State Hospital shortly after taking off from North Perry Airport. Two people were on board the plane at the time of the incident. Both occupants were transported to a local hospital for medical attention. The Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board are investigating the crash.
