Small Aircraft Conducts Emergency Landing on Hill Air Force Base Road
A small civilian aircraft made a successful emergency landing on a roadway at Hill Air Force Base on Thursday afternoon. The pilot, who was the sole occupant of the Cessna 150, reported engine trouble shortly after departing from Ogden-Hinckley Airport. They safely landed the plane on Westover Road, an access road for the base, avoiding any injuries or significant damage. Emergency crews from the base and local fire departments responded to the scene. The incident caused a temporary closure of the road while the aircraft was secured and removed.
