UK-based eVTOL developer Skyfly is now making its proprietary hybrid-electric propulsion system available for purchase by other aircraft OEMs. This system was originally developed for Skyfly's two-seat Axe personal aircraft. It uniquely combines a generator with a battery pack, offering critical redundancy and enabling a flight range of up to two hours. By selling this technology, Skyfly aims to accelerate development across the electric aviation industry. The company is positioning the system as a proven, off-the-shelf solution for emerging aircraft designs.
