SkyDrive Reaches Key Certification Agreement with Japanese Regulators for its Flying Car

SkyDrive Inc. has achieved a significant milestone by reaching an agreement with the Japan Civil Aviation Bureau (JCAB) on the certification basis for its SD-05 flying car. This agreement finalizes the safety and performance standards required for the aircraft to receive type certification. The basis is established under JCAB's Airworthiness Inspection Manual, marking a crucial step forward since SkyDrive's application in October 2021. The company is developing the three-seater electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft for commercial use. SkyDrive aims to launch air taxi services at the 2025 World Exposition in Osaka, Japan.
