SkyDrive Assesses eVTOL Medical Logistics Routes in Mumbai and Delhi

Japanese company SkyDrive Inc. has begun assessing potential routes for its electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft in India. The study is focused on establishing medical logistics networks around the major cities of Mumbai and Delhi. This initiative aims to use the SKYDRIVE aircraft for time-sensitive tasks like transporting organs and medical supplies. In collaboration with the Delhi Mumbai Industrial Corridor Development Corporation, the assessment will evaluate demand, route feasibility, and regulatory requirements. This marks a critical step towards creating a sustainable aerial transport system and a broader air taxi network in the country.
