SkyDrive and Verty Partner to Launch eVTOL Air Taxis in South Korea by 2028
Japanese eVTOL developer SkyDrive has signed a memorandum of understanding with South Korean mobility platform Verty. The partnership aims to launch commercial air taxi services in South Korea, targeting a 2028 start date. SkyDrive will supply its "SKYDRIVE (SD-05)" aircraft for the operation. Verty, a spinoff from Hyundai's startup program, will develop the service platform and ground infrastructure. This collaboration seeks to build a comprehensive Advanced Air Mobility ecosystem in the country.
