Single-Engine Plane Makes Emergency Landing on Texas Highway; No Injuries Reported
A small, single-engine aircraft was forced to make an emergency landing on Highway 73 in Beaumont, Texas, on Friday afternoon. The pilot reported experiencing engine trouble, prompting the decision to land on the roadway near the Jack Brooks Regional Airport. Two people were on board the plane at the time of the incident. Fortunately, the landing was successful and no injuries were reported. The Texas Department of Public Safety responded to the scene to manage the situation and the aircraft was eventually moved.
