Single-Engine Plane Crashes into Water in Mount Pleasant; Two Occupants Safe
A single-engine plane has crashed in the Ravens Run community in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. The aircraft went down in a body of water within the residential neighborhood on Tuesday afternoon. Emergency crews from Mount Pleasant Police and Fire departments, along with Charleston County EMS, responded to the scene. The two occupants of the plane were able to exit the aircraft following the crash. Both individuals were evaluated by first responders and sustained only minor injuries. An investigation into the cause of the incident is now underway.
