Singapore's Vertical Aerospace Solutions Completes Flight Test Campaign for V-Star 12 eVTOL in Germany
Singapore-based Vertical Aerospace Solutions (VAS) has successfully concluded a flight test campaign for its V-Star 12 eVTOL aircraft at Augsburg Airport in Germany. The tests, conducted with German partner M&D Flugzeugbau, focused on evaluating the aircraft's control systems and flight characteristics, particularly the transition between vertical and horizontal flight. The single-passenger, 12-rotor V-Star 12 prototype is a step towards the company's planned five-passenger V-Star 50 model. VAS is targeting European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) type certification for its aircraft by 2028.
