Singapore Airlines to Deploy Boeing 777-300ER, Reintroducing First Class on Auckland Route
Singapore Airlines is enhancing its premium offerings for travelers to Auckland, New Zealand during the Northern Winter 2024/2025 season. The carrier will replace the Airbus A350-900 with a four-class Boeing 777-300ER on one of its daily flights, SQ285/286. This equipment swap reintroduces a First Class cabin with four seats to the Auckland market. The seasonal change, effective from October 27, 2024, to March 29, 2025, also adjusts seat capacity in business, premium economy, and economy classes. This move doubles the airline's First Class capacity to the city, as the other daily flight will continue to be operated by an A350 without this cabin.
