The round was oversubscribed and led by Japanese investors including Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group, Kanematsu Corp., and Tokio Marine Nichido Fire Insurance. This new capital injection will be used to accelerate the development of the company's Dream Chaser spaceplane. Furthermore, the funds will support the advancement of Sierra Space's commercial space station project, a key part of the future low Earth orbit economy.
