SHEIN Expands Sustainable Aviation Fuel Initiative with DHL Partnership
Global e-retailer SHEIN has signed an agreement with DHL Express to utilize its GoGreen Plus service, marking a significant investment in Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF). The deal involves the purchase of over 3,000 tonnes of SAF, which is projected to reduce carbon emissions from SHEIN's air cargo by approximately 9,000 tonnes. This partnership is a key part of SHEIN's broader goal to cut its overall value chain emissions by 25% by the year 2030. This is the company's second major SAF agreement, signaling a continued commitment to decarbonizing its logistics and supply chain. The initiative highlights a growing trend of cargo shippers directly funding the transition to greener aviation.
