Senator Tim Sheehy and Passenger Unharmed After Emergency Plane Landing

A PZL-104 Wilga 35A aircraft, piloted by Montana State Senator Tim Sheehy, performed an emergency landing in a field near Ennis. The incident was reportedly caused by an engine failure that occurred shortly after takeoff. Both Sheehy and his passenger were uninjured during the forced landing. The aircraft, however, sustained substantial damage. The Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board have been notified and are expected to investigate.
