Search Underway for Six After Florida-Bound Plane Crashes in Bahamas
A search and rescue operation is underway for six people after a small plane crashed off the coast of Abaco, Bahamas. The Piper PA-32 aircraft was traveling to Fort Pierce, Florida, when it went down shortly after departing from Treasure Cay. The U.S. Coast Guard received an alert about the downed plane on Monday afternoon. Both the Coast Guard and the Royal Bahamas Defence Force are actively searching for the aircraft and its occupants approximately 10 miles from the coast.
