Saudia Becomes First MENA Operator of the Airbus A321XLR
Saudia has confirmed a firm order for 15 Airbus A321XLR aircraft, making it the first airline in the Middle East and North Africa region to operate the new type. The agreement was announced at the Paris Air Show. This extra-long-range narrowbody will allow the carrier to expand its network to new destinations across Europe and Asia. The A321XLR's impressive range of up to 4,700 nautical miles provides the flexibility to connect Saudia's hubs with more distant markets. This strategic move will complement the airline's widebody fleet while offering significant fuel efficiency.
