SAS's Inaugural India Flight in 17 Years Forced Back by Paperwork Glitch
Scandinavian Airlines' first flight to India in 17 years was forced to turn back to Copenhagen mid-journey. The Airbus A321LR, operating as flight SK995 to Delhi, was unable to secure the necessary overflight permits for Azerbaijan. The crew made the decision to return while over the Black Sea, leading to a significant operational disruption. As a result, the corresponding return flight from Delhi was also canceled. SAS is currently working to resolve the paperwork issue and has been rebooking affected passengers.
