SAS Cancels Over 150 Flights as Baggage Handler Strike Disrupts Copenhagen Airport
Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) has cancelled approximately 150 flights departing from Copenhagen on Monday and Tuesday. The disruption is a direct result of an 'illegal' strike by baggage handlers employed by the subcontractor, Aviator. This industrial action is affecting all SAS departures from the major Danish hub. The airline has stated that thousands of passengers have been impacted by the sudden cancellations. SAS is working to rebook affected customers as the situation develops.
