Sarla Aviation Taps Siemens Software to Accelerate eVTOL Aircraft Development
Indian eVTOL startup Sarla Aviation is adopting the Siemens Xcelerator software portfolio to streamline the development of its new aircraft. The software will be used to design, engineer, and manufacture the SARAS-301, a five-seater hybrid-electric vertical take-off and landing air taxi. By leveraging this technology, Sarla Aviation aims to create a comprehensive digital twin of the aircraft. This approach is expected to optimize performance, reduce the need for physical prototypes, and accelerate the overall development and certification process for both civil and military applications.
