Safran Invests €50 Million in Toulouse Campus for Future Single-Aisle Avionics
Safran Electronics & Defense is investing €50 million ($54 million) in a new campus in Toulouse, France. The facility will be dedicated to designing the next generation of avionics systems for future narrowbody aircraft. A primary goal is to reduce pilot workload and enhance flight safety through increased automation and advanced information systems. The campus will eventually house around 1,000 engineers focused on flight deck displays, flight controls, and other critical cockpit technologies. This strategic investment positions Safran to be a key supplier for the successors to the Airbus A320neo and Boeing 737 MAX.
